The Bees Talmud

The Talmud of Bees invites you to a pleasant and exciting introduction to the wonderful world of the bee kingdom.

In my book “The Talmud of Bees,” I chose to take a closer look at the world of bees, a small, flying, and skillful insect. Their importance to nature in general and to humans in particular is not proportionate to their physical size.

The world of bees is friendly, fascinating, wise, and often surprising.

Familiarity with bees and observing their behaviors does not leave one indifferent, as one is amazed by their direct contributions and the potential influence of their wisdom on one’s own behaviors if they adopt a bit of their ways.

In “The Talmud of Bees,” there are chapters that invite the reader to get to know this magical world. The chapter “The Song of the Bee” features a collection of poems about the behaviors and wisdom of bees, from which life messages for humans emerge. The chapter “Bees in the Bible” deals with the history of bees in ancient Israel. The chapter “The Bee” deals with the life of bees in the beehive and provides a glimpse into their friendly and social world. The chapter “Medicine” deals with the bee products used in pharmacy and medicine in ancient times, as revealed in the Jewish bookshelf and ancient medical writings. In the chapter “Prescriptions,” readers are offered prescriptions and recipes from beehive products used in health practices in ancient times.
